Chris Sutton has sent a warning to Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis ahead of the match against Everton.
The former Chelsea and Aston Villa striker and BBC Sport pundit has also predicted how Forest will fare against Everton at the City Ground this weekend.
So, what has Chris Sutton said about Nottingham Forest, Evangelos Marinakis, Steve Cooper and Everton? Let’s take a look.
Chris Sutton sends warning to Evangelos Marinakis regarding Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper
Well, Nottingham Forest will take on Everton at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday.
Forest are doing well at the moment. Unlike last season, the Reds are unlikely to get into a relegation fight.
Steve Cooper’s side are 15th in the Premier League table now with 13 points from 13 matches. They are eight points above the relegation zone.
Everton are actually in the relegation zone. The Toffees have picked up four points from 13 games, five points behind 17th-placed Luton Town.
Former Aston Villa striker Chris Sutton has backed Everton to win the match against Forest 1-0.
The BBC Sport pundit has also warned Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis not to sack manager Steve Cooper anytime soon.

On November 25, The Daily Mail reported that pressure was mounting on Cooper.
Sutton told BBC Sport: “This feels like a big game for Nottingham Forest, who saw their unbeaten home record ended by Brighton last week.
“I am reading that boss Steve Cooper is under pressure now, and his problem is the expectations of Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis. I think Marinakis has to be careful, because he doesn’t seem to understand the connection Cooper has with the fans.
“Everton are obviously badly in need of the points too. I actually thought they were unlucky against Manchester United last weekend – yes, they lost 3-0, but they created plenty of chances.
“My first thought here was a draw but I actually just have a feeling that Sean Dyche will find a way, and Everton will edge this one.
“Sutton’s prediction: 0-1.”
Evangelos Marinakis has to keep faith in Steve Cooper
In my view, Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis simply cannot sack Steve Cooper as the manager anytime soon.
True, Forest have lost their last two Premier League matches 3-2, but they are comfortably above the relegation zone now.
Cooper made sure that the Reds did not get relegated to the Championship at the end of last season.
I believe that Cooper is a better and more experienced manager now, and we can see that in the way his team are already pulling ahead of the bottom three.
