Pedro Martins is an option to replace Steve Cooper at Nottingham Forest.
That is according to talkSPORT, which has noted the connection between Martins and Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
So, what has been reported about Nottingham Forest and Pedro Martins? Let’s take a look.
Nottingham Forest linked with Pedro Martins
Well, according to talkSPORT, Pedro Martins is an option to replace Steve Cooper as the Nottingham Forest manager.
Martins is in charge of Al-Gharafa SC in the Qatar Stars League at the moment.
TalkSPORT has noted that Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis had Martins, 53, in charge of Olympiakos. The two know each other well.
Former Real Madrid and Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Julen Lopetegui has been linked with Forest as well.
Steve Cooper better than Pedro Martins for Nottingham Forest
In my opinion, Nottingham Forest would be better off sticking with Steve Cooper than firing him and bringing in Pedro Martins as his replacement, especially in the middle of the season.
After all, Forest are in a fight for survival in the Premier League this season. It is not easy for any manager to take charge of a struggling team in the middle of the campaign.

Had Forest looked to appoint Martins in the summer of 2023, then, yes, it would have made some sense.
But, getting rid of a manager who kept the team in the Premier League last season and bringing in someone who is working in Qatar would be a massive risk.
I understand that Forest have not been in great form recently, and there is a real danger of them getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.
But, we know that Cooper is good enough to keep Forest in the Premier League. He showed us that last season, so why sack him and bring in Martins?
