Thierry Henry felt that Nottingham Forest defender Neco Williams lost his composure at a key moment against Liverpool on Saturday.
The debate rumbles on from the City Ground and Henry spoke about the late incident on Monday Night Football last night.
So, what has Henry said about Forest defender Williams? Let’s take a closer look…
What Thierry Henry said about Nottingham Forest star Neco Williams
Well, it would appear as though Henry believes the first critical mistake at the weekend came from the Forest star Williams.
The defender has been in strong form of late but he’s been criticised for his part in Liverpool eventually scoring a late, late winner.
Forest lost thanks to Darwin Nunez’s late header and Henry believes Williams will have to take some of the blame.
He told Monday Night Football: “Neco Williams, can you keep your composure? Can you please keep your composure? That’s the first chance where Liverpool enter a zone right now and it’s their comfort zone. They want to win.

“You start to smell that you are about to lose. Neco Williams had a chance to kill it and go on the counter or retain the ball but smashed it out for a throw-in.”
Pundits take it in turns to find ways to blame Forest
Make no bones about it, Forest – and Williams – could have defended the situation better on Saturday.
However, as Mark Halsey said, Forest were done by a really poor refereeing error that got the ball rolling.
We’ve had Jamie Carragher try to blame Forest player Callum Hudson-Odoi and now Henry has put the ball in Williams’ court.
The £17 million signing from Liverpool actually had a good game on Saturday and in fairness, he did defend the incident that Henry is on about.
Ultimately, Forest should have been given one last chance to attack themselves but Tierney’s mistake allowed Caoimhin Kelleher a chance to punt it long.
As a result, Forest star Williams should never have been in a position where he had to defend but conveniently, as it’s Liverpool, lots of pundits seem to have forgotten that.
