Nottingham Forest now seem to be closing in on a fourth signing of the summer transfer window.

Ross Wilson has already brought Elliot Anderson, Marko Stamenic and Eric da Silva Moreira to the City Ground – and advanced talks over another deal would now appear to be taking place at Wilford Lane

Gilmar Veloz spotted at Nottingham Forest ahead of Carlos Miguel arrival

Gilmar Veloz – the agent of Carlos Miguel – has now posted a photo of himself at Wilford Lane as talks for Nottingham Forest to sign the Brazilian goalkeeper near a conclusion.

It comes just hours after the South American glovesman was spotted boarding a flight to England – with Nottingham Forest seemingly ironing out the finer details before paying his €4m (£3.4m) release clause to Corinthians.

You can see the photo posted by Veloz on Instagram below.

Miguel is not seen in the picture, although it could be assumed that his agent flew to England before him to hold final discussions with Nottingham Forest, before giving the 25-year-old the green light to fly out as well.

The man from Rio das Ostras will now presumably undergo his medical once joining Veloz in Nottingham, before an official announcement is made.

Nuno Espirito Santo needs this deal to work

The goalkeeping department is arguably the one area you ideally want to be settled for as long as possible – given the importance of having a consistent figure in between the sticks.

For example, seeing the same glovesman behind them can often help to create a relationship between the defence and goalkeeper.

Unfortunately for Nottingham Forest, there has been major upheaval in this area, as Odysseas Vlachodimos, Matt Turner and Matz Sels all shared the gloves last season.

Therefore, Nuno needs the signing of Miguel to work out, and for the Brazilian to prove he can compete properly against Sels – before eventually taking over the No.1 spot from the Belgian, seeing as he is seven years younger.
