Nottingham Forest’s summer transfer window has gotten off to a flying start ahead of the new Premier League season.
Nuno Espirito Santo has welcomed six new faces through the doors at the City Ground so far this summer.
Forest have returned from their pre-season trip to Spain with a mixed bag of results ahead of their game on home soil against Villarreal on Friday night.
Most of the new signings have already integrated themselves in the squad with the Forest crowd set to give them a warm welcome on Friday.
And there is one player, in particular, who goalkeeper Matz Sels has been left really impressed by during pre-season.

Which new Nottingham Forest signing has impressed Matz Sels
Nuno has to be pleased with the business which has been done so far this summer with a lot of positions addressed in the market.
Evangelos Marinakis has been a busy man and that has not just been in bringing players into the club.
Forest have also had to navigate the PSR deadline in June which forced them to offload the likes of Orel Mangala and Moussa Niakhate.
But it seems the Greek owner has landed one piece of business this summer which has impressed last season’s number one.

Speaking on the Shut up and show more football podcast, the Belgian shot stopper has said he’s been really impressed with what he has seen from Nikola Milenkovic so far.
“Yeah, I have played now 45 minutes together with him. So he’s somebody new also, but he has a lot of experience also in Europe and with national team; I think he was captain,” Sels said.
“So no, it’s good to have somebody like him with us. He’s going to create also a good concurrence between the players.”
Nikola Milenkovic will prove a real bargain at £12m
For just £12m, Forest have been able to provide Murillo with a centre-back partner who will arrive with bags of experience.
The 26-year-old has over 200 appearances in Serie A to his name and has competed on the European stage.
This feels like exactly the type of player which Forest need to take them forward this season following a disappointing 2023/24 campaign.
Of course, Forest will be hoping they can keep hold of Murillo who is receiving interest from Chelsea, but this has potential to be quite the centre-back pairing.
