Nottingham Forest have enjoyed one of the better summer transfer windows of any Premier League side.

Nuno Espirito Santo has certainly seen his Forest squad bolstered this summer with six new faces through the doors at the City Ground.

It has also been a busy summer when it comes to outgoings with several players departing over recent weeks.

Forest were able to avoid any PSR issues in June after they brought in some money for the services of Orel Mangala and Moussa Niakhate.

So far, Forest have been able to keep ahold of their big guns despite interest arriving in some of them.

But the door could just be beginning to open for a big sale this summer with Forest believed to have lowered their valuation in one of their stars.

Nottingham Forest reduce in-demand players valuation by £15m

Despite their struggles, on the whole, there were some really impressive performances from individual Forest players last season.

One of them was Morgan Gibbs-White who shone at the City Ground having provided 15 goals contributions in the Premier League alone.

It is believed the likes of Tottenham Hotspur are showing an interest in Gibbs-White this summer.

But there is another player who Forest fans will fear losing and the club may just be opening the door slightly to his potential sale.

According to Sami Mokbel, Nottingham Forest are now valuing Murillo between £55m-£60m this summer.

This comes amid interest arriving from Premier League side Chelsea who are known to spend big when they want a player.

Forest have balanced their books this summer against PSR, but the prospect of receiving a bid in the region of £60m for a player would certainly give Evangelos Marinakis something to think about.

Nottingham Forest previously valued Murillo at £70m

What is interesting is that it was previously reported this year that Forest value Murillo in the region of £70m this summer.

The Brazilian centre-back has only played one season in the Premier League but he did quickly become a mainstay at the City Ground having racked up 32 appearances in the top flight.

This comes just 12 months after Forest signed the centre-back for around £15m from the Brazilian side Corinthians.

It may have been a ‘sensational‘ opening season for Murillo in the Premier League, but Forest may well find a big money offer too good to turn away if it was to land at Marinakis’ foor.
