Nottingham Forest may now be just one week away from kicking off their 2024/25 campaign but the Reds are still looking for more signings.

Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side will now be arriving back in the country following their final pre-season game of the summer over in Greece.

Next up for Forest now is their game at the City Ground against Bournemouth in just over a week’s time.

But there is still time for Evangelos Marinakis to bring in some further recruits to put the cherry on top of the cake for Nuno.

The majority of the Forest summer signings have had most of pre-season to gel with their new side, so any further additions will be seen as a bonus.

And there is one player who is now doing all he can to force a move to the Reds over the coming weeks after hearing of their interest.

Nottingham Forest target is pushing for transfer

The Reds are still looking to make some signficant moves in the market despite having spent fairly heavily on the likes of Elliot Anderson.

Forest had a bid rejected on Thursday for Porto winger Galeno which was revealed during the friendly in Greece.

And on Friday morning, it was claimed Forest were weighing up an improved bid for Galeno with Porto wanting £30m+.

With all of this going on, there is another forward who is doing all he can to secure himself a move to the City Ground.

According to TYC Sports, Ramon Sosa is now rebelling against CA Talleres as he wants to join Forest this summer.

The South American outlet has brandished the player’s decision to rebel as a ‘scandal’ following the talks between the two clubs.

Sosa has now announced that he will be training separately away from the main side as he hopes for his move to England to be pushed through.

Nottingham Forest have agreed deal for Ramon Sosa

Forest have sealed a verbal £20m agreement with Talleres for Sosa this summer but the Reds are yet to pay up.

This has seen the club president vent his fury towards Forest with it being announced that Sosa will rejoin his teammates in training.

However, this has resulted in the Paraguayan to take matters into his own hands and refuse to train with his side.

It’s certainly getting messy but some fans will be delighted to see the player so keen to make the move to Forest.
