Nottingham Forest have got their season off the ground but had to settle for a draw against Bournemouth.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side got off to a terrific start at the City Ground having been tested with the worst possible start to the campaign.
Forest lost Danilo to what could well be a season-ending injury inside the opening minutes; everyone will be wishing him the best.
Despite the lengthy break as the medics attended to the midfielder, Forest got on the board after 23 minutes as Chris Wood cooly slotted home from inside the box.
However, the second half left a lot to be desired with the Reds losing their dominance before seeing the visitors grab themselves a late equaliser.

What Kris Boyd noticed about Nottingham Forest that really impressed him
It may only have been just one game but the Reds did show some good signs with a number of pundits already predicting relegation.
The second half certainly will have provided questions needing to be answered by Forest but there were positives to take from the first 45 minutes.
And there was something, in particular, which Sky Sports pundit Boyd was left seriously impressed with from the Reds.

Speaking on Soccer Saturday, Boyd admitted he was really impressed by what he saw in Forest’s play prior to the equaliser late on in the game.
“I like the look of Forest going forward, maybe defensively there is a bit of work to do. They’re causing all sorts of problems with little one-twos.”
It is just a shame the Reds were unable to carry this into the second half with their dominance on the game slipping in the second 45.
Nottingham Forest have lessons to learn after late equaliser
Forest could have put down a real marker had they been able to hang on to all three points against the Cherries.
But it was not to be and now the Reds have a week to get back on the training pitch and work on what went wrong.
Perhaps it is just a case of Forest needing to get back to full match fitness in the early stages of the campaign but they undoubtedly threw away two points.
There is still time for Evangelos Marinakis to add in the transfer market and Forest have been linked with a move for Arsenal’s striker Eddie Nketiah.
More goals are needed, clearly, with the window coming to a close at the end of the month.
