Nottingham Forest have been one of the Premier League’s busiest clubs in this summer’s transfer market.
Nuno Espirito Santo has already seen eight new faces come through the doors of the City Ground with Alex Moreno the latest recruit.
Forest were only able to put a single point on the board in their season opener against Bournemouth on the weekend.
None of Forest’s new signings were in from the start on Saturday with Nikola Milenkovic not even in the squad through an unexpected technicality.
But there is still a week for the Reds to bolster their squad with further additions before the window shuts until January.
And there is one player who is now desperate to make a move to the Premier League having seen Forest show an interest this summer.

Defender wants Premier League move amid Nottingham Forest interest
The Reds are still looking to sign another player or two this summer with Forest having already agreed personal terms with Eddie Nketiah.
However, it is not just up top Forest are looking to strengthen this summer with a potential return on the cards.
Forest have reportedly shown an interest in re-signing the £9m-rated Gonzalo Montiel before next week’s deadline day.
And according to Estadio Deportivo, Montiel is now desperate to make a return to the Premier League amid the interest from his former club.
The Argentine right-back spent last season on loan at the City Ground from Sevilla before returning earlier this summer.
But the defender was only able to make eight starts in the Premier League last season where he returned three assists across all competitions.
Nottingham Forest need to prioritise a new striker
Whether Forest are able to provide Montiel with his dream of returning to the Premier League, the Reds need to secure themselves a new striker.
If Chris Wood is able to continue his fine form from last season into the new campaign – which he showed signs of on the weekend – Forest will not have a great deal to worry about.
However, the Reds are still looking like they need some reinforcement up top with that department proving a major issue for Forest last season.
Signing a player like Nketiah may not exactly provide them with guaranteed goals but he would certainly offer them stronger strength in depth.
