Nottingham Forest are trying hard to bolster their own squad before the transfer deadline on Friday – but there is still some work to do when it comes to players leaving the club too.
Forest have enjoyed a pretty solid transfer window to date. Nine new arrivals have come to the club, with two of them – Marko Stamenic and David Carmo – heading straight out to Olympiacos on loan.
In terms of outgoings, all of last year’s loan players have departed the club. Furthermore, Moussa Niakhate, Orel Mangala and Odysseas Vlachodimos all left to help with PSR.
Last week, Joe Worrall departed Forest for Burnley. He was part of a small group of players deemed surplus to requirements and now another of those players could be set to leave the club.

Josh Bowler wanted by two EFL clubs
According to Sky Sports, Bowler is now wanted by Preston North End and Hull ahead of the transfer deadline on Friday.
Bowler has never played a competitive game for Forest but did score in a 3-0 win over Chesterfield during pre-season.
The 25-year-old needs to be playing regular football and there’s no chance of him doing that any time soon at Forest.
Preston have recently appointed Paul Heckingbottom as their new manager and claimed a 1-0 win over Luton at the weekend.
He’s looking to get Preston to kick on this season and clearly he’s a fan of Bowler.
It’s claimed that this deal is one that should be easy to do. The report suggests that an offer has already been made and things could happen very quickly.
Forest have to avoid signings like Bowler in the future
Steve Cooper tried to sign Bowler when Forest were in the Championship but things didn’t materialise.
When the Reds got promotion it looked unlikely that he would be pursued but ultimately, the club went and signed him anyway.
He’s been on loan to Blackpool, Olympiacos and Cardiff during his time at Forest and this time he could leave permanently.
Now that Forest have been in the Premier League for two years, the club will start to aim higher.
Bowler perhaps always looked short of the required quality at the Premier League level and it appears that the club signed him in case of an immediate relegation.
The winger is a talented player, however, and he should really prove himself at either Preston or Hull.
