Nottingham Forest added a number of players to their ranks during the summer transfer window, with 11 new names joining the club.
Two of the players – Marko Stamenic and David Carmo – joined Olympiacos on loan but the others are trying desperately to get into the Forest team.
Forest scoured the world for new talent and signed players domestically and from foreign shores, including Brazil and Argentina.
It was a transfer window that represented a clear strategy shift, with emphasis placed on quality over quantity by the football club.
Nuno Espirito Santo can now have no excuses this season and the Reds need to be capable of kicking on in the Premier League with a squad brimming with talent.

Nottingham Forest signing dreamed of playing at the City Ground
Ramon Sosa became a bit of a saga on Trentside as Argentinean outfit Talleres dug their heels in to ensure they got paid £11 million for their player.
Sosa – typically a winger – did sign eventually and made his full debut in the Carabao Cup against Newcastle at the City Ground.
Last night he was on international duty with Paraguay and helped the team claim a 1-0 win over Brazil – who are now in serious danger of not qualifying for the World Cup.
Afterwards, Sosa was quizzed on his move to Forest and he shared that it’s a bit of a dream to sign for such a big football club.
He told Hei Now on TikTok: “I’m very happy really, it’s the Premier League, and I always dreamed of being there, it’s great.”
Sosa came on for 23 minutes as Paraguay claimed the big win and he will now be striving for more starts for both club and country.
Sosa can thrive under Espirito Santo at Forest
It was the head coach who pushed to have more options out wide, with Anthony Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi relied upon to stay fit last season.
The 25-year-old looks a sound addition to the squad, with plenty of experience under his belt back in South America.
It won’t come easy for him to get into the team, with Hudson-Odoi and Elanga both earning their stripes at the City Ground over the last 12 months.
However, he will be up for the challenge and when he’s played so far, he has looked capable of causing danger with his tricks and flicks.
Sosa might not have dreamed that he’d end up at Forest but clearly playing in the Premier League is something that he will be keen to take in his stride.
Hopefully, that bodes well for Forest and he can settle quickly and force his way into the team as the season progresses.
