Nottingham Forest make the journey up to Liverpool this weekend where they will face their toughest challenge yet.
It has been a solid start to the Premier League campaign for Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side who remain unbeaten.
Forest have been able to put five points on the board over their opening three games but will be up against it on Saturday.
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has already suggested it will be a difficult afternoon for Forest with Liverpool in such good form.
Saturday’s hosts are yet to even concede a goal during their three victories this season as they join Manchester City at the top of the table.
BBC Sport’s Alan Shearer has now gotten in on the predictions as he has shared his thoughts ahead of Forest’s trip to Merseyside.

Alan Shearer shares his Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest prediction
Considering the 2023/24 season which Forest endured, this has been an extremely promising start to the season for the Reds.
Having been eliminated from the Carabao Cup, Nuno will only have the Premier League action to focus on now until the turn of the year.
But their game against Liverpool on Saturday may well be seen as a free hit with Forest up against it in many pundit’s predictions.

And it is no different with Shearer who has told Metro he is fully expecting Liverpool to take three points with another clean sheet.
“It will be too much for Nottingham Forest at Anfield. I think they may try and shut up shop but with the form Liverpool are in, the way they’re playing and the confidence they’ll have, they’ll have too much for Forest,” he said.
“It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Liverpool were to win and keep a clean sheet again, so I will go for a home win in what will be a superb start to the season for Arne Slot.”
Nottingham Forest could cause Liverpool some problems
Although Forest have not exactly been free scoring this season, they have scored in all three of their games so far.
Chris Sutton has warned Liverpool to be wary of Chris Wood who has scored two of Forest’s three goals this term.
And despite not exactly lighting it up in front of goal, Kris Boyd has been impressed by Forest’s attacking play under Nuno.
The odds are against Forest, but taking something from the game at Anfield would be a huge bonus for the Reds who will be looking to put in another solid display.
