It never rains it pours with Nottingham Forest when it comes to injuries and a few players are rated as doubtful for Saturday’s trip to Liverpool.
The Reds face an in-form side at Anfield, with the hosts yet to concede a goal under Arne Slot.
Nuno Espirito Santo will head to Merseyside looking to arrest an abysmal run of form as a manager against the Anfield giants.
The Reds have begun the 2024/25 campaign unbeaten, with one win and two draws from the first three matches of the Premier League campaign.
Now, Espirito Santo has shared some intriguing team news ahead of this weekend’s trip to face Liverpool away from home.

Nottingham Forest team news vs Liverpool
Well, it might not be good news for Forest ahead of this gargantuan test against one of Europe’s best teams.
Willy Boly was sent back to Forest for treatment by Ivory Coast and now two other players are rated as doubtful for the trip.
One of them is Ibrahim Sangare. No player has made more tackles in the Premier League this season than the Ivorian but he could now miss Saturday.
The other is Chris Wood who has been in America playing for New Zealand and Espirito Santo wants to guard against fatigue.
He told Nottinghamshire Live: “We have a doubt with Sangare and Boly and we know Danilo is out. We are assessing all of them. We have to wait a little bit to be 100 per cent sure.
“Boly has a calf injury. We are assessing all of them. We still have one more day then we will see.”
Sangare would be huge loss for Forest
It’s been a hot topic of supporter discussion but in our view, losing Sangare would be a huge blow for Forest this weekend.
What Sangare lacks in pace he makes up with sheer tenacity and it’s not surprising that no Premier League player has made more tackles than him.
The crucial element of Sangare that Forest would miss would be his ability to sit and get stuck into Liverpool and it’s hard to see who else does that.
Ryan Yates is probably the most natural option but he’s not quite as comfortable in that role and his played his best football in a more box-to-box role.
Boly is a player that Forest could cope without right now given that he’s not really considered the first choice at centre-back.
Still, it’s not ideal that a few niggles are creeping in and hopefully, Sangare and Wood can at least make the squad for the trip to Anfield.
