It feels like it’s only been five minutes since the last one, but Nottingham Forest’s players are back out on international duty for the month of October.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have been in excellent form this Premier League campaign, tasting defeat just once and are 10th in the table.

The Forest boss will be hoping that all of his squad can return in perfect condition as they prepare for a tough month of fixtures that include Crystal Palace, Leicester City, West Ham United, and Newcastle United.

So, with that, let’s take a look at every Forest star away on international duty for the month of October.

Which Nottingham Forest players will be away on international duty

Morgan Gibbs-White has been called up for a second time after being named by interim boss Lee Carsley for England’s September fixtures.

Gibbs-White admitted he cried after receiving the first England call-up but there will be hopes that the injury that saw him substituted against Chelsea won’t affect his place in the squad.

Should he be deemed fit to link up with the squad, Gibbs-White will be in Nations League action, as will many others from the Forest squad.

Andrew Omobamidele (Republic of Ireland), Nikola Milenkovic (Serbia), Neco Williams (Wales), Anthony Elanga (Sweden), and Matz Sels (Belgium) have also been called up to their respective nations.

Away from Europe, Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi have been selected for Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations 2025 qualifying double-header against Libya.

Chris Wood will feature for New Zealand while Ramon Sosa is in the Paraguay squad to face Ecuador and Venezuela.

Elliot Anderson is in England’s Under 21s squad for Euros qualifiers against Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
