The Premier League have reached out to Nottingham Forest and Premier League clubs over a change they made that received criticism from fans.

Nottingham Forest find themselves on the naughty step with the FA right now.

Morgan Gibbs-White, Nuno Espirito Santo and Evangelos Marinakis have been given one, three and five-game bans, respectively, for their part in the reaction to Gibbs-White’s sending-off against Brighton.

This has been viewed as slightly harsh by Forest fans who were quick to bring up the fact that Nicolas Jackson got away with no punishment for throwing a slap at Morato last time out.

Regardless, Forest have now made an appeal over Marinakis’ ban and will wait to see what comes of it.

Surprisingly, Nottingham Forest have been apologised to by the Premier League over a separate matter recently.

Premier League send apology to Nottingham Forest over issue they caused

It’s not everyday you get an apology from the Premier League.

The FA and the PGMOL have been the two organisations who have caused Forest pain already this season, but there’s no chance of getting an apology out of either of them.

Interestingly, Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail shared the news that the Premier League sent a private apology letter to all 20 Premier League clubs over the late confirmation of fixture changes for December and January.

Mokbel states that top-flight chiefs were due to release the latest batch of fixture changes between September 16 and October 14, according to the broadcast schedule.

But the fixtures weren’t confirmed until Tuesday, 24 hours past their own deadline.

The delay was caused by the Premier League receiving the final security sign-off for the Manchester derby, scheduled for Sunday, December 15, at 3:30 p.m.

The Premier League have been criticised by supporters for failing to meet their own provisional deadline to release the revised fixture dates.

What are the Nottingham Forest fixture changes?
