Nottingham Forest will be praying that Morgan Gibbs-White returns from injury soon, but now it looks as if there’s another potential worry.
Nuno Espirito Santo handled things magnificently on Monday night against Crystal Palace in Morgan Gibbs-White‘s absence, as Elliot Anderson slotted straight into his role.
Anderson drew comparisons to Lionel Messi for some of his dribbles on the night, and Kelvin Wilson said about how lucky Forest are to have signed him.
Gibbs-White’s injury is very much day-to-day as he continues to be assessed by the medical staff, which could leave Nuno with another decision to make ahead of Leicester.
However, there could be a fresh blow for Nuno Espirito Santo as one of his star men appeared to be missing from training, as well as Gibbs-White.
£35 million Nottingham Forest star appears to be msising from training
Nottingham Forest have already had the likes of Danilo and Ibrahim Sangare suffer long-term injuries this season, so they won’t want anymore to add to the list.
However, a potential worry has arisen after training footage emerged ahead of Leicester.
The official Nottingham Forest YouTube channel shared the video of the players in training, and Elliot Anderson appears to be missing.
He wasn’t the only one as Morgan Gibbs-White was also missing.
A potential Elliot Anderson replacement?
Of course, there may be a perfectly good reason for Anderson’s absence from training, though the only worrying thing is he was hobbling a bit against Palace.
Jota Silva could be the man to move into the position that was being occupied by Anderson in a central role, having already impressed fans with his displays.
Interestingly, Alan Smith said that Silva plays exactly like Jack Grealish after his display against Palace.
However, it’s very much a waiting game now to see the team sheet once it’s released.
