Nottingham Forest will be hoping they can hold onto a couple of their star men as the January transfer window approaches, with a number of sides weighing up different moves.
Ola Aina is one player who has attracted plenty of interest amid his current contract situation, which is set to run out in the summer.
AS Roma are one of the latest sides to register an interest, as they have Aina on list of potential left-back signings for January.
Another player who has attracted interest from Newcastle United is Nikola Milenkovic, after his impressive first eight Premier League games for Forest.
Murillo has the attention of Chelsea but the valuation of £70 million is putting them off currently.
Interestingly, there’s been an update involving Newcastle and one player not mentioned above.
Newcastle United will struggle to sign Nottingham Forest star in January
Newcastle United have had plenty of success from the signing of Anthony Gordon, and it looks as if they’ve taken a fancy to a winger at the City Ground.
Interestingly, it was claimed that Miguel Almiron was offered to Forest on deadline day after the Magpies made a move to sign Anthony Elanga.
However, Evangelos Marinakis had no interest in a deal and it was left there.

Now, it appears as if the Tyneside club will struggle once again to sign him in January.
According to iNews, Newcastle are dealing with some PSR issues which makes it unlikely for them to be able to sign Elanga when the transfer window opens.
It’s stated that PSR continues to impact on the club’s thinking, and Elanga won’t come cheap.
Anthony Elanga’s season to date at Nottingham Forest
Anthony Elanga hasn’t quite hit the heights that many expected in the current campaign. He is yet to get off the mark but does have one assist to his name.
One positive is the fact that Elanga has clocked in as the second fastest player in the Premier League this season, ahead of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
Receiving a fee in the region of £50 million again may prove too hard to turn down in January given his current form, though it doesn’t look like that’ll be the case with Newcastle’s situation.
Regardless, he’s still young at 22, so there’s plenty of developing and potential to unlock.
