Nottingham Forest have made a quality start to the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
The Reds beat Leicester 3-1 at the King Power Stadium on Friday and now sit seventh in the Premier League table.
Chris Wood scored twice for Forest and earned praise from Alan Shearer, whilst Ryan Yates scored the other goal for the Reds.
Forest are reaping the rewards of a meticulous transfer window that saw the club prioritise quality over quantity in a nice change of pace.
Nikola Milenkovic was added for just £12 million and the Forest star has strengthened the rearguard considerably.
Today – with half-term upon Nottinghamshire – Forest decided to give the young supporters a glimpse of them in action during a training session.
Nuno Espirito Santo took his players through their paces at the City Ground ahead of Saturday’s game with West Ham.

Nottingham Forest star misses open training session alongside Morgan Gibbs-White
Sadly, there was still no Gibbs-White taking part in training – although he was spotted in the training gear at the City Ground.
It’s positive news that he’s not still wearing a protective boot but there is no indication when he might be back in the squad.
The man who has replaced him in the number 10 position for the last two games has been Elliot Anderson and he wasn’t training either.
However, Anderson isn’t injured as such and Sky Sports News confirmed that he was back at the training ground doing a recovery session with some other coaches.
The 21-year-old has been praised by Gary Neville for his form so far this season and hopefully, he’s not got any kind of niggle and can play on Saturday.
Anderson needed with Gibbs-White currently injured
Forest do have a brilliant squad of players this season but the club can ill afford another number 10 to be injured.
As a result, perhaps it was wise to let Anderson do a recovery session on his own at the training ground with Saturday quickly coming around.
Anderson has played two games in quick succession and featured heavily in both of the outings against Crystal Palace and Leicester.
Perhaps there is simply some fatigue in his muscles and Espirito Santo is keen to tread with caution ahead of the next game.
It feels like Gibbs-White won’t make the West Ham game and the means that Anderson is going to be tasked with great responsibility once again.
