Nottingham Forest head into this weekend’s game as the form side against West Ham, and Alan Shearer has now predicted who he thinks will walk away with three points.
Nuno Espirito Santo managed to give the fans their first home win of the season against Crystal Palace, with today’s game providing another opportunity to build on that home form.
Nottingham Forest face a West Ham side that have been inconsistent at times, but they head into this one off the back of getting Erik ten Hag sacked after defeating Manchester United.
Interestingly, Julen Lopetegui has already spoken about how impressed he is with Forest and how difficult today’s game will be for his side, so he’s expecting a challenge.
Now, Alan Shearer has delivered his verdict on the game which involved picking a winner, and he didn’t need much convincing on who to go with.

Alan Shearer makes prediction for Nottingham Forest vs West Ham
Shearer actually predicted right when Crystal Palace came to the City Ground, as he believed in a win.
Nottingham Forest’s form speaks for itself, and the performances are that of a side brimming with confidence.
Now, Shearer has made his prediction for this weekend’s clash, and he’s convinced on the outcome.
Speaking in his column for the Metro, the former Newcastle United striker believes that Nottingham Forest will come away with all three points.
“Nottingham Forest were impressive last week and there’s no doubt Nuno has something going there. West Ham were dreadful in the first half against Man United but were much better in the second half.
“With Forest at home and the confidence they’ve got, I think they’ll beat West Ham, especially with the form of Chris Wood – I have been hugely impressed with him in front of goal.
“Wood is in the form of his life and his goal last week epitomised a forward in-form with great confidence.
“It’s an incredible feeling going out onto the football pitch expecting to score and he’s in that vein of form at the moment, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he gets another goal this weekend.”
Injury news for Nottingham Forest
Nuno Espirito Santo faces four issues ahead of the West Ham clash, with Morgan Gibbs-White, Chris Wood, Jota Silva and Elliot Anderson all suffering with knocks.
Chris Wood not making the squad would be devastating as he’s been bang in form and has played a huge part in getting Forest to where they are.
The Reds have managed surprisingly well without Gibbs-White in recent games, but that has largely been down to Anderson filling his role so well, so he’s another they can’t afford to miss.
Interestingly, Jota Silva put out a post ahead of the game that hinted he’s either hoping he’s fit or he’s wishing for a starting place this weekend.
