Nottingham Forest star Murillo is very much the man of the moment.
The central defender signed from Corinthians in 2023 and he hasn’t really looked back during his time in the Premier League.
Manchester City considered signing Murillo before Forest came calling and that decision by the reigning champions looks rather foolish now.
Murillo is set to play for Brazil in the coming weeks and he’s a maverick in the Forest back line.
Along with Nikola Milenkovic, the pair have helped Forest to fifth place in the Premier League after 11 games and both players have been instrumental.
Before jetting off to link up with his Brazil teammates, he was quizzed by the club’s media team on a number of footballing matters.

The Reds have a number of players jetting off on international duty to represent their country.
Murillo is one of them and ultimately he will be desperate to get on the pitch for Brazil in the coming days.
It was claimed earlier this week by Murillo that Thiago Silva is his footballing idol and the man who he looks up to the most.
Now, he’s picked the toughest player to face in Forest training and it might come as a bit of a surprise.
He said on X: “I think that would have to be Jota. Yes, Jota Silva, yes Jota he’s so hard.”

The winger was a surprise signing in the summer and his arrival pretty much came out of nowhere.
Forest needed attacking options this summer and chose to take a punt on Silva for £11 million from Vitoria in Portugal.
Silva has been very lively when he’s stepped off the bench for Forest but Nuno Espirito Santo hasn’t started him yet.
Murillo clearly doesn’t like playing against him and after defeat to Newcastle on Sunday, perhaps Silva could come into the reckoning for the next match at Arsenal.
