Anthony Elanga has been speaking very highly of the team cohesion behind the scenes at Nottingham Forest, with one player playing a big part in that.

Ola Aina one of the favourites behind the scenes at Nottingham Forest

As we all know, Ola Aina is a bit of a joker behind the scenes at Nottingham Forest.

Ola Aina mocked West Ham after the 3-1 win for Nottingham Forest earlier on this month in typical fashion on his Snapchat account.

Anthony Elanga has now backed up everything we already thought about the defender in a recent interview with Pro Direct Soccer.

He stated that Aina makes everyone laugh and smile around Nottingham Forest.

“That guy. You can’t go to training for one day and not smile if you see him, you will always laugh and smile.”

Ola Aina one of the first names on the teamsheet at Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest managed to secure the services of Ola Aina for absolutely nothing, which is a crazy thought given how important he is to the team.

Aina’s contract is up in the summer and interest has been filtering in from Italy in particular, given his previous experience playing in the Serie A.

However, a new contract is in the works at Nottingham Forest as a reward for his efforts and to fend off any advances ahead of January 1st.

His versatility has been one of the main strengths of his and it’s benefitted Alex Moreno massively, allowing him to operate on the left and Aina on the right.
