Nottingham Forest are in a bit of a rough patch right now, but that was always to be expected at some point after such a good start to the season.
Ipswich Town are the opposition this weekend in the Premier League in what proves to be a difficult test for Nottingham Forest.
After a draw last time out against Ruben Amorim’s men, Ipswich will be full of confidence and they’ve got one of the form men in the top flight.
Liam Delap has been on fire for the Tractor Boys this season, scoring six goals in 12 games.
However, Nottingham Forest have their own talisman in Chris Wood, who has been even more impressive, with eight in his 12.
It could prove to be a fascinating encounter with both sides in need of a win for different reasons, and Alan Shearer has offer up his prediction for the encounter.

Alan Shearer makes his prediction for Nottingham Forest against Ipswich Town
Alan Shearer went slightly against his beloved Newcastle at the City Ground a matter of weeks ago, and that proved to be wrong.
He also put a bit of a jinx on Ibrahim Sangare before the season started, stating that he’s set for an amazing campaign, which has led to him being out injured for months.
Nevertheless, he’s expecting something more positive from Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, having made a prediction that fans would be pleased with.
Speaking in his Metro column, Shearer believes that Forest will come away with all three points.
“I was really impressed with Ipswich against Man United. I thought they were really unlucky not to win the game. Has the bubble burst at Nottingham Forest? It’s a tough one to call but I’ll probably go for Forest to win as they’re at home.”
Prediction: Nottingham Forest win.
Alan Shearer’s Nottingham Forest season prediction
Nottingham Forest were predicted to be relegated by many this season.
However, Alan Shearer had a slightly different opinion, as he’s got them to just avoid relegation by the skin of their teeth, which still seems unlikely now.
“I have got them in a relegation battle but I think they will have enough, just. Something similar to last season.”
With Shearer being a Newcastle fan, perhaps he should have known better that Forest would improve under Nuno Espirito Santo this season after we signed Elliot Anderson.
