Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has given his career a new lease of life by moving to the City Ground.

Forest plucked Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea for just £3 million and he’s rediscovered himself.

Last season, he scored eight goals as Forest survived relegation and during 2024/25, he’s scored the winning goal at Anfield against Liverpool.

Hudson-Odoi upset his dad with that goal against Liverpool but he ultimately had to put Forest first rather than his dad’s loyalties to the table-toppers.

The 24-year-old has settled nicely at Forest and Hudson-Odoi has been at home since day one following his move to Trentside.

Hudson-Odoi is part of a good group of players at Forest and he’s now admitted he’s been very impressed with one summer signing.

Callum Hudson-Odoi shares how Elliot Anderson has impressed him

The Forest winger joined The Byline on YouTube to play some FC25 and talk football earlier this week.

As part of that discussion, Hudson-Odoi was asked about Elliot Anderson and his impact at Forest since he signed for £35 million from Newcastle.

Hudson-Odoi has been seriously impressed with the talented youngster and from day one, he’s shown quality on the training ground.

He said: “He’s a good player man, he’s a very good player. You could even see it in training.

“You know when he first started training with us at Forest, we could all set it straight away.”

Anderson is a sign of the times with Forest recruitment

This is a truly wonderful signing and Anderson already looks at home at Forest.

He’s showcasing with every performance exactly why Forest’s recruitment team were so keen to bring him to the club.

Anderson also fits the profile of a player that Forest should be looking to attract.

He’s a player who quite clearly has an abundance of potential and at 21-years-old, he brings a significant amount of resale value to the club.

It’s no surprise that Anderson impressed his teammates and it’s fair to say that the fan base are equally ecstatic with the start that the Geordie has made to life at the club.
