Nottingham Forest are in the process of trying to tie Chris Wood down to a new deal, but it’s not proving to be easy as Saudi Arabian clubs are casting their eye.
Nuno Espirito Santo will be in a rush ahead of the January transfer window, as the likes of Ola Aina and Chris Wood are both in what seems like never-ending contract talks.
AC Milan and Roma have been eyed Aina, but contract talks are believed to be progressing.
The pair have been vital so far this season, with Wood bagging 10 goals in 18 appearances and Aina contributing in all areas of the pitch.
Nottingham Forest are working on a new deal for Chris Wood, but it seems as if Saudi clubs are keeping an eye on the situation.

Chris Wood is happy at Nottingham Forest as Saudi clubs eye transfer
Nottingham Forest are still working out the exact details of a new deal for Chris Wood, with the length of the contract being debated.
The New Zealand international signing a new deal shouldn’t be an issue as he’s in the form of his life in the best league in the world, but he is 33 now.

The Athletic are reporting that Chris Wood does have interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia but the club believe he is happy at Forest.
It’s claimed that the Reds are hopeful a two-year contract can be agreed to extend the 33-year-old’s stay at the club.
Nottingham Forest eyeing a move for Yuri Alberto
Nottingham Forest already have their eyes on Yuri Alberto.
However, he’s currently stuck between whether to seek a permanent move to the Premier League or stay and fight at Corinthians.
“I really want to stay (at Corinthians). But I also have a dream of playing in Europe, in the Premier League.
“I am very happy here. Even more so because I’ve found my best form. I was even joking with the guys at the training centre before the game against Bahia. I said: “Man this is the last training camp here at home, at the hotel’.
“It’s very rare for this to happen, and it’s the first time that I don’t want the year to end! I don’t want it to end because, at the moment, I’m living, I’m very happy.”
