Nottingham Forest are next in action when the team travels to Wolves on Monday night looking to claim a sixth successive victory.
Forest have been riding the crest of a wave just lately and despite a tough run of fixtures, the Reds won all but one of their games in December.
Nuno Espirito Santo has earned praise from Jamie Redknapp among others this season and he’s busy changing the perception of Forest during 2024/25.
Gary Lineker has already changed his mind on Forest this season after predicting the team to be relegated before a ball was kicked back in August.
Forest defeated Everton last time out with the 2-0 win pushing the team up to second for a brief period before Arsenal beat Brentford on New Year’s Day.

Report delivers update on Forest star Callum Hudson-Odoi
The win over Everton was all the more impressive given that Hudson-Odoi didn’t even travel to Merseyside for the game against the Toffees.
He picked up a dead leg against Tottenham on Boxing Day and was deemed unfit to take a place in the matchday squad against Everton.
Furthermore, Murillo hobbled out of the warm-up and was replaced by Ramon Sosa in the starting eleven, with Espirito Santo switching to a four-man defensive unit.
Murillo confirmed after the game that his injury wasn’t serious but there has been radio silence on Hudson-Odoi. Until now!
The Daily Mail has claimed that the 24-year-old should be ready to return for Forest when they head to Molineux to face Wolves on Monday night.
Clearly the extra time to rest has paid dividends and Forest can look forward to welcoming the winger back into the ranks when they next take to the pitch.
Hudson-Odoi has played in all but two Forest games this season, scoring twice in games against Liverpool and West Ham, whilst also registering a single assist.
Hudson-Odoi will have to fight for place back in the Forest team
Forest only paid £3 million for Hudson-Odoi and that deal looks like an absolute steal in the current transfer climate.
The Reds managed to strike a deal for the winger when Steve Cooper was still in charge, with the head coach working with Hudson-Odoi for the England under-17 World Cup-winning outfit.
Despite being an important player at the City Ground, any player who misses games right now will be forced to fight for their place back in the team.
Anthony Elanga is currently a man in fine form, whilst Ramon Sosa gave a strong account of himself when called upon against Everton.
It will be great for Forest to have Hudson-Odoi back in the squad but given how brilliant the Reds were at Everton perhaps the three-time England star will have to settle for a place on the bench.
