Wolves vs Nottingham Forest predicted XI, Nuno makes three changes as stars return

Nottingham Forest will face Wolves at Molineux tonight as the Reds look to have fun in the snow as they make a short trip to the West Midlands.

The country has been battered with a thick blanket of the white stuff over the last 48 hours and Forest will be hoping to leave Wolves snowed in this evening.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team are going into this one on the back of five straight wins, with the last three seeing Matz Sels keep three clean sheets between the posts.

Tonight’s game provides the team with a very tough test with Wolves picking up under Vitor Pereira over the Christmas period.

Still, it’s a game that does provide Forest with another chance to get points on the board and a win tonight would see the Reds hit the 40 mark after 20 games.

Predicted Nottingham Forest XI vs Wolves

Nottingham Forest rearguard

We’re not expecting too much to change here but Murillo did limp out of the warm-up when Forest played Everton last time out.

His injury isn’t serious it seems though and if he’s fit we anticipate that he will replace Morato next to Nikola Milenkovic.

At full-back there is no need for change with Ola Aina operating at right-back and Neco Williams hoping to continue his own good form on the left.

Sels will once again wear the gloves and play between the posts.

The Forest engine room

After winning so convincingly against Everton, it would be harsh on any player to get dropped from the team for tonight’s game.

Nicolas Dominguez could be another casualty though as Espirito Santo goes with Ryan Yates who missed the game at Goodison Park through suspension.

Alongside him, it would take a very brave man to drop Elliot Anderson who is sat on five assists following a brilliant festive period playing as a conventional midfielder.

Leading the Forest line

Chris Wood took his tally to 12 goals against Everton and he will once again play in attack.

Forest are linked with Igor Jesus this month and Wood will want to continue scoring goals as the Reds weigh up their options for the transfer window.

Behind the talisman, there could once again be another change, with Callum Hudson-Odoi hoping to shake off the injury that kept him out of the Everton game.

He could come in on the left, with Anthony Elanga hoping to continue his recent good form from the right-hand side.

Morgan Gibbs-White will hope to silence his former club from the number 10 position again.

These days the Forest bench often boasts an abundance of talent.

Sosa, Dominguez and Morato will all drop to the bench with Espirito Santo making the three changes that we anticipate tonight.

Against Everton, Jota Silva, James Ward-Prowse, Willy Boly, Harry Toffolo and Taiwo Awoniyi all came on.

We expect those players to make the bench again tonight, with Carlos Miguel making the nine as the substitute goalkeeper.

Zach Abbott is training with the first team but he might miss out this evening.
