Nottingham Forest will experience a very busy summer in the transfer window, especially if European football, as expected, is on the table.
The Reds have been brilliant during the 2024/25 campaign and will return to third place in the table if Brentford can be despatched on Thursday night.
Already, the links are starting to emerge for the summer, with Forest eyeing a move for Manchester City star James McAtee as he prepares to leave the Etihad Stadium.
It’s perhaps not the incoming arrivals that are causing the most intrigue, however, with a number of the current crop being linked with moves away from the City Ground.
Morgan Gibbs-White is wanted by Manchester City, whilst Murillo and Callum Hudson-Odoi are also attracting interest from more established European clubs.

Roma want Forest star Elliot Anderson
According to La Roma 24, the Italian outfit are monitoring Anderson closely after a brilliant season playing regular football with Forest during 2024/25.
The Forest number eight has held down a position in the team on merit and his role as a box-to-box midfielder has caught the eye of the fan base this season.
Anderson has been in fine form since his £35 million move from Newcastle, with some of that fee offset by the sale of Odysseas Vlachodimos for £20 million.
Now, it would appear that Anderson is attracting interest from further afield but if he does leave this summer, it will take a seriously big sum to prise Forest into a sale.

Given that Anderson signed for £35 million, it’s going to take a seriously big offer for Forest to even consider a sale of the talented youngster.
Anderson has been brilliant during the current campaign and at 22-years-old, there is a lot more to come from the versatile midfield player.
| Elliot Anderson stats 2024/25 | Total |
| Appearances | 32 |
| Goals | 2 |
| Assists | 6 |
| Key Passes | 34 |
| Tackles | 78 |
Roma will provide an attractive proposition, of course, but Anderson is likely to want to continue progressing in the Premier League with Forest.
This season is the first season in which he’s become a regular in a team at this level and he will now be keen to kick on and play in Europe with Forest next season.
