Nottingham Forest could be set for a transformative summer transfer window.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are well-placed to qualify for the Champions League as they reside a point adrift of the top four with a game in hand.

Forest play host to Brentford this evening, knowing a win would catapult them back into third place with just four games left.
If the Tricky Trees do achieve the unthinkable, they’ll be shopping in a totally different market than they’re used to.
And, with that said, a fresh transfer rumour has them linked with a prolific striker on the continent.

Nottingham Forest weigh up summer move for Vangelis Pavlidis
Nottingham Forest are in the market for a striker this summer transfer window as they look to provide Chris Wood with support.
Forest are already eyeing Bournemouth’s Evanlison, who has enjoyed a successful debut season in England, netting 11 goals whilst laying on five assists.
Now, according to Abola, Nuno and his recruitment team are weighing up a move for Benfica’s Vangelis Pavlidis.
The 46-cap Greek centre-forward has been prolific in Portugal, scoring a whopping 28 goals in 49 outings this term.
The report claims Benfica are worried about Forest’s interest, though, they aren’t the only club circling Pavlidis’s signature.
West Ham United, Everton, Newcastle United and even Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old, who has an £85m release clause.
Pavlidis’s underlying data is incredible
Pavlidis’ goal record speaks for itself, but his underlying data is equally as impressive.
According to FBref, the Benfica frontman ranks in the top three per cent compared to his positional peers across Europe for assists per 90, evincing he’s more than just a goalscorer.
Further, Pavlidis sits in the top 15 per cent for progressive take-ons, so he’s statistically one of the best dribblers on the continent, too.
| Rank | Player | Nation | Club |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Viktor Gyokeres | Sweden | Sporting CP |
| 2 | Franjo Ivanovic | Croatia | Union SG |
| 3 | Luis Suarez | Uruguay | Inter Miami |
| 4 | Cristian Arango | Columbia | San Jose Earthquakes |
| 5 | Paulinho | Portugal | Toluca |
FBref data suggests he’s of a similar profile to Viktor Gyokeres and Luis Suarez, so Forest could sign a real gem here.
