Nottingham Forest’s 2-2 draw against Leicester City on the weekend dealt a major blow to their Champions League hopes.
Nottingham Forest were held to a draw by Leicester City at the City Ground, leaving them in seventh place.

Champions League qualification is now not in their hands and the frustration at that reality was evident to see at the full-time whistle.
Evangelos Marinakis stormed onto the pitch and confronted Nuno Espirito Santo, who defended his owner in the post-match press conference.
Gary Neville urged Espirito Santo to resign and now Simon Jordan has ripped into the Sky Sports pundit for that opinion.

Simon Jordan rips into Gary Neville for controversial stance on Evangelos Marinakis incident at Nottingham Forest
Neville described the Marinakis incident as ‘scandalous’ and, quite controversially, encouraged Espirito Santo to leave Nottingham Forest.
TalkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan slammed Neville for his outlandish take and labelled it ‘clickbait’.
“It’s silly, it’s just for people to react to, it’s clickbait… Gary’s a better observer than that. You don’t need to be saying these sorts of things.
“Nuno Espírito Santo is not going to be rocking into his chairman’s office and saying to him. ‘I’m out the door’, because he knows that the guy is committed to the club.”
Jordan continued: “By the way, why is there one rule for owners and one rule for everyone… everyone else is allowed to show emotion.”
The former Crystal Palace owner continued to go at Neville and Carragher.
“Is it necessary for Gary Neville to make those sort of observations? It feels to me sometimes him and Carragher are now making observations simply to get attention.
“It certainly isn’t necessary for a leading pundit to come out and say, right that’s it, you should be resigning, you should be going in there… I mean this is silly stuff, it’s not even grown-up conversation worth commenting on.”
Marinakis clarified why he was so frustrated
Marinakis took to Instagram after the Leicester game and clarified what angered him, as there was a suggestion that he was berating Espirito Santo.
The Greek businessman wrote: “Today is a day for celebration, because after thirty years Nottingham Forest is now guaranteed to be competing on the European stage once again, a promise I made to our supporters when we achieved promotion!
“With two more games to go in the Premier League, we must keep believing and keep dreaming, right to the final kick in the final game. We are extremely proud and close to Nuno and the team, and we must all celebrate the historic achievements of this season.
“Everybody- coaching staff, players, supporters and including myself- we were frustrated around the injury of Taiwo and the medical staff’s misjudgement on Taiwo’s ability to continue the game. This is natural, this is a demonstration of the passion we feel for our Club.
“Let’s all be grateful, passionate and keep on dreaming!”
It still wasn’t a good look for Marinakis, and he will be well aware of that, but all will be forgotten if they manage to turn it around and finish in the top five, which is still a real possibility.
