Nottingham Forest are expected to be busy this summer transfer window.
Nuno Espirito Santo will be handed a substantial budget by Evangelos Marinakis, who is hopeful of turning Nottingham Forest into regular challengers for the European spots.
Marinakis banked around £160m in prize money last season, so he certainly isn’t short of funds with the window now officially open.
Forest are already close to making Igor Jesus their first signing and are looking to add Cuiabano and Jair Cunha, too.
City Ground chiefs are also in the market for a winger and with that said, they could sign one of Chelsea’s.

Nottingham Forest could sign Chelsea winger Noni Madueke after fresh transfer development
Forest appear to have a good relationship with Chelsea, having signed the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Andrey Santos.
Now, there’s an opportunity to do more business with the West Londoners, as Noni Madueke is thought to be available for sale, according to the Guardian.
There is a feeling around Stamford Bridge that Madueke’s development has stalled, so they’re now open to offers.
The England international netted 11 times in all competitions for Chelsea last term and would likely command a profit on his £30m transfer fee back in 2023.
- 41 appearances
- 11 goals
- 5 assists
If Forest can agree a deal of around £40m, it’d be excellent business and one that’d certainly raise a few eyebrows around the Premier League.
Marinakis wants to make statement signings this window and Madueke would be one.
Morgan Gibbs-White could help make the Madueke deal happen
There has been widespread speculation around whether Morgan Gibbs-White is staying at the City Ground.
But, as it stands, Manchester City aren’t progressing their interest in Gibbs-White because they feel he’s too expensive.
So, if the Forest captain does stay, he could help to make the Madueke deal materialise, with the pair seemingly having a good relationship.
They played together at both senior and youth level with England, so perhaps Gibbs-White could convince him to make the switch to the City Ground.
Time will tell.
