A left-back looks like being on the shortlist for Nottingham Forest this summer, with a host of names being linked.
Neco Williams was injured on international duty with Wales this week, and it’s not clear how long he’s going to be sidelined for.
Alex Moreno is linked with Leeds after spending last season on loan at the City Ground, and another option is definitely being sought.
Botafogo star Cuiabano is also wanted by Forest, and it would appear that a new left-back is going to be the order of the day for the club during the summer transfer window.

Nottingham Forest linked with Pervis Estupinan
According to Ecuadorian outlet Mr Offsider, Estupinan is keen to leave Brighton this summer, with Manchester United and Forest in the mix to land him.
Forest have been linked with Estupinan before, and now it would appear that he’s catching the eye of the recruitment team once again.
It’s not clear how much Estupinan will cost, although Brighton paid around £15 million for his signature when they landed him from Villarreal in 2022.
Estupinan has made 104 appearances for Brighton, scoring five goals and registering 14 assists for the Seagulls, who finished eighth last season.
What Roberto De Zerbi said about Pervis Estupinan
Clearly, Forest need a left-back, and there is a sense that this link might merely be idle gossip.
However, it’s fair to say that Forest could do a lot worse than go for Estupinan, given that he’s a proven Premier League defender.
When he was in charge of Brighton, De Zerbi heaped praise on the left-back after a game against Crystal Palace.
He told The Argus: “He’s very important in the build-up, but he’s becoming a complete player now.
“Our target is to help the players become complete.
“He played very well, and he can play even better.”
Forest will hope that Williams is fit to start the season but it would appear that a new left-back might well have arrived to provide competition by that point anyway.
