Nottingham Forest look set to cash in on some players this summer, with last season seeing the club’s stars attract interest.
Anthony Elanga is signing for Newcastle for a fee close to £60 million, and that does represent a blow to Nuno Espirito Santo.
Forest have also lost Ramon Sosa, with the Paraguayan star joining Palmeiras in a deal worth around £11 million.
Igor Jesus has signed for Forest and more signings will be sought by Evangelos Marinakis before the next season gets underway.
With a seventh-place finish secured last season, however, clubs are eyeing some of the club’s stars, and now another link has emerged.

Spanish media suggest ridiculous Murillo valuation
The Forest centre-back is in the sights of Atletico Madrid as their move to sign Cristian Romero from Tottenham looks to be dead in the water.
Murillo is on a list compiled by Los Rojiblancos and it would appear Diego Simeone is now among a long list of admirers of the Brazilian.
The price claimed by AS, however, is comical, with the report suggesting that a fee of £52 million is what Forest value Murillo at.
Last year, the Brazilian penned a new long-term contract at the City Ground and as a result, it will likely take north of £80 million for Forest to entertain a sale.
There’s no secret that lots of clubs like Murillo but there is no chance he will be departing for the £52 million suggested in this report.
Murillo will definitely be at Forest this season
At £10.6 million, Murillo has proved an absolute steal for Forest and there is so much more to come from him as a player.
Alongside Nikola Milenkovic last season he was formidable defensively and it’s great that Forest look to be keeping their rearguard together for next season.
Manchester City considered signing Murillo before he came to Forest and given how good he’s been in the Premier League, they might be wishing they’d taken a chance on him.
Atletico are undoubtedly one of European football’s top clubs but there is no way on this earth they will be getting Murillo for less than £60 million so soon after he signed a new deal.
