Nottingham Forest could soon find themselves in the market for a replacement for talismanic performer Morgan Gibbs-White.
Gibbs-White is wanted by Tottenham this summer and a move could take place if Forest get the terms of the player’s release clause in the coming weeks.
With Anthony Elanga already leaving for Newcastle, it would leave Forest very short in the attacking positions, and the sooner some signings are made, the better.
Forest have bid for Dan Ndoye and now there could be another potential target who has given the Reds a boost that he can be obtained this summer.
Now, it would appear as though the Reds are stepping up their efforts to sign a number of players, with positive news emerging on another target.

Nottingham Forest make bid to sign James McAtee
It would appear as though things are starting to ramp up from a Forest perspective when it comes to transfers.
According to John Percy, Forest are going to advance their attempts to sign McAtee this week, which probably implies that Gibbs-White will be on his way.
The Manchester City player is available for transfer this summer and McAtee has previously been called ‘fantastic‘ by Citizens boss Pep Guardiola.
Now, it’s believed that Forest will step up their efforts after McAtee spent last week in Germany in talks with Frankfurt, who are also weighing up whether to make a move or not.
McAtee could be very useful Forest signing
The 22-year-old is by no means the finished article just yet but signing him would see Forest tie down a player with an extremely bright future.
McAtee has made 34 appearances for City, scoring seven goals, with the majority of his minutes coming either from the bench or in cup competitions.
Regular football is something that he would definitely get with Forest and that would definitely help him from a development point of view.
McAtee can operate as a 10 or in the more conventional number eight role in midfield and if Forest can get this one over the line, it would definitely bolster the team’s options.
