Nottingham Forest are going all guns blazing to try and land their replacement for Anthony Elanga this week.
Elanga was sold by Forest earlier in July, and that has left the Reds incredibly short when it comes to the wide areas of their attack.
Ramon Sosa has also been allowed to leave Forest, whilst Jota Silva is currently attracting interest from Sporting CP, who are keen to sign him.
Forest need to get the cheque book out, however, and it seems pretty clear right now who the first choice to replace Elanga is ahead of this season getting underway.

Evangelos Marinakis leading charge for Dan Ndoye
It would appear that Forest are upping the ante to sign the Bologna player, and Marinakis has now been summoned to lead the negotiations with the Serie A outfit.
According to Calcio Bologna, Marinakis is going to offer Bologna a fee of £37 million, with a further £3.5 million set to be offered in the way of add-ons.
Ndoye has been a target for Forest all summer, having scored nine goals and claimed six assists last season as the Italian outfit won the Coppa Italia.
Marinakis convinced Morgan Gibbs-White to pen a new deal on Saturday night and now he’s on the charge when it comes to landing Ndoye.
Ndoye would be quality Elanga replacement
The Swiss performer has been identified as the man to replace Elanga and it’s easy to see why.
Ndoye is rapid when it comes to pace and although he’s probably not as quick as Elanga, he would have a similar presence in the Forest side.
The player has big-game experience, having played in Europe with Bologna and he’s unlikely to be fazed by playing in the Premier League.
It’s not clear whether this offer will meet the requirements of Bologna but with Marinakis now leading the charge, it’s hard to imagine Forest not pulling this deal off in the near future.
