Nuno Espirito Santo is predicting one Nottingham Forest player to become one of the best players in the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest’s recruitment over the last few years has been really intelligent, as they’ve brought in a number of talented young players at a relatively low cost.
Anthony Elanga, for instance, joined in a £15m deal from Manchester United in 2023 and has now been sold for around £60m to Newcastle United.
Morgan Gibbs-White is also worth in excess of £60m, with his new contract not believed to have a release clause in it.
Nuno Espirito Santo is also delighted with another piece of business Forest did last summer, as he’s completely blown away by how good he is.

Nuno Espirito Santo convinced Elliot Anderson can be ‘the best’ midfielder in Premier League
Elliot Anderson joined from Newcastle United last summer in a transfer believed to be worth around £15m.
Anderson enjoyed a stellar debut campaign at the City Ground and was arguably England’s best player in their under-21 European Championship triumph this summer.
Newcastle fans have been blown away by Anderson’s performances since leaving St James’ Park, and they are really disappointed to see their academy graduate flourishing elsewhere.
And, they’ll be even more frustrated by Espirito Santo’s prediction, as according to the Telegraph, he reckons Anderson will become ‘the best’ midfielder in the Premier League and for England.
Espirito Santo thinks there’s no limit for Anderson
Espirito Santo genuinely believes Anderson has got everything it takes to become a world-class footballer.
The Forest boss reckons there is ‘no limit’ to what he can achieve in the game, with a call-up to Thomas Tuchel’s squad surely around the corner.
Anderson has the skillset to play a number of different positions, too, making him an incredibly valuable member of the squad.
The 22-year-old can operate as either a number eight or six, and even as a left winger when called upon, so that adaptability will be crucial ahead of a congested fixture list next term, with European football on the horizon.
