Nottingham Forest are still actively exploring a number of deals in the summer transfer market.
Nuno Espirito Santo wants three more signings before the window shuts next Monday and there have been links to a number of different positions.
RC Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa is on Nottingham Forest’s radar and is being mooted with a £32m move to the City Ground.
Sevilla right-back Jose Angel Carmona is also liked by Nuno, as he looks to recruit a right-back to provide competition for Ola Aina.
Now it’s emerging that Nottingham Forest are keen to sign a midfielder on the continent and are ready to make a bid.

Nottingham Forest ready £17m bid for Mads Bidstrup
Nottingham Forest showed an interest in Mads Bidstrup earlier in the window as he was labelled Nuno’s ‘top’ target.
Now, there is a fresh report on the Bidstrup deal, as Salzburger Nachrichten report that Forest are ready to make a £17m bid for the RB Salzburg midfielder.
No official offer has been made just yet, but it’s already being reported that Salzburg will reject the offer, although they were believed to be tempted.
Bidstrup is understood to be keen on a move to the City Ground, so if the Tricky Trees were to table a bigger bid, it seems like a deal that could materialise in the remaining seven days of the window.
The 24-year-old is drawn to the Premier League, and Forest have the pull of Europa League football, too.
Mads Bidstrup was previously at Brentford
Interestingly, Bidstrup has previously played in England as he spent 18 months with Brentford as a youngster.
He made 14 senior appearances for the Bees before being sold in a £5m deal to RB Salzburg two years ago.
Since then, Bidstrup has gone from strength to strength and is now the captain of the Austrian giants aged 24.
If he were to join Forest, he’d likely be a squad player, but those leadership qualities would certainly lend itself well to the dressing room.
Bidstrup also has experience playing in the Champions League.
