Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo has admitted that there are two players who should move on before the transfer window slams shut on September 1st.
Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, but much of the noise leading up to the game was about Nuno Espirito Santo’s future.
Nuno has had a fallout with Edu, which has therefore strained his relationship with Evangelos Marinakis as they aren’t speaking as regularly.
That has sparked reports that Nuno could leave Nottingham Forest, however, he put those suggestions to bed in his pre-match interview yesterday.
Speaking after the game, the Portuguese head coach was just focused on ending the transfer window strongly and admitted that two players should move on in order to help facilitate three more additions.

Nuno Espirito Santo says two Nottingham Forest players should leave
Nuno wants Edu to make three more signings before the window shuts in seven days, and he was again insistent that Forest need two full-backs.
“I look at players as options. What they cost – you have known me for a long time – I look at them as options,” the 51-year-old said about the new signings.
“If one of our wingers can play at full-back, I will be the first to say that we need only one full-back. But Omari (Hutchinson), Kali (Arnaud Kalimuendo), Macca (James McAtee), I look at them and they are not full-backs. The team needs full-backs.”
Nuno then said that two players should leave to further their careers elsewhere.
“We have Omar Richards and Eric Moreira, who need to move and proceed their careers and be happy, because I cannot give what they need in their careers, which is minutes.”
The three signings Nottingham Forest could make before deadline day
Forest are in talks to sign Dominic Livakovic from Turkish giants Fenerbahce as they look to provide Mats Sels with competition in goal.
Livakovic is a 66-cap Croatia international and had a stellar World Cup campaign in 2022, so he would be a solid addition.
Nuno is also eyeing Sevilla’s Jose Angel Carmona, who would join as cover for Ola Aina at right-back, although, he can ply his trade off the left, too.
Victor Kristiansen is another name linked to the City Ground and the Leicester City left-back is valued at around £10m.
Dilane Bakwa is also a potential signing for Forest, though, Leeds United are pushing hard to land his signature, too.
