Nottingham Forest were held to a score draw by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.
Nottingham Forest went behind in the clash as Ismaila Sarr volleyed home shortly before half-time, but Callum Hudson-Odoi found the equaliser in the second half.
James McAtee made his debut off the bench and was very impressive, with supporters even questioning whether he could take Morgan Gibbs-White’s spot in the starting line-up.
Indeed, all of the noise around the game was about Nuno Espirito Santo and his future, but the Portuguese head coach was insistent that he wants to stay and work things out with Edu and Evangelos Marinakis.
Nuno was also asked if there would be any more transfer business in the remaining seven days of the window.

Nuno Espirito Santo shares how many more signings he wants at Nottingham Forest
Speaking after the Crystal Palace game, Nuno was adamant that Edu and his chiefs must sign another three players before the window slams shut next week.
“First of all, let’s try to complete our squad – this is really important in the final days of the transfer window,” the 51-year-old explained.
“We need three players – one more goalie and two full-backs because we cannot live with the fear of if something happens to Ola (Aina) and Neco (Williams).
“After these situations, what is important is Forest not the persons. We are going to have them. We must, we must.
“What I think is we need to have these conversations (with Edu and Marinakis), and we are going to have them. This is what I think is more important than anything. The players need it, the squad needs it, the club needs it, we need it. And we are going to have it.”
Nottingham Forest want Jose Angel Carmona
It’s been reported that Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks to sign Jose Angel Carmona from La Liga outfit Sevilla.
The 23-year-old can operate as a right and left-back, so clearly, Nuno is desperate to get that deal over the line.
Leicester City left-back Victor Kristiansen has been linked to Forest, too, and he is thought to be valued at around £10m.
That deal may be off the table now, though, as Leicester have raised funds through James Justin, who is set to join Leeds United,
So it remains to be seen if they’re willing to let another full-back leave.
