Nottingham Forest are making a late play to sign a Premier League player before the transfer window slams shut.
Dilane Bakwa looks set for Forest from Strasbourg, and he will complete the team’s business in the final third of the pitch.
After Forest landed John Victor this morning, it felt as though a quiet day might be in store, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Bakwa’s arrival would give Forest four wingers in their squad, but a raid on another Premier League club might not be out of the question late in the day.

Nottingham Forest consider late Adama Traore approach
According to Portuguese journalist Sebastiao Sousa-Pinto, Forest are possibly weighing up whether or not to try to sign Traore once again.
Forest were linked with Traore earlier in the transfer window, with Nuno Espirito Santo managing the player during his time at Wolves.
The speedster is down the pecking order at Fulham and with Kevin and Raheem Sterling on their deadline day radar, a move for Traore to Forest has been touted.
Surely, Forest won’t sign Bakwa and Traore and perhaps this is merely a contingency plan should anything fall through involving the Strasbourg performer.
Traore would keep Nuno Espirito Santo sweet at Forest
It’s been claimed that Edu and Espirito Santo fell out over Traore, with the Brazilian Head of Football Operations not keen to sanction the arrival of the winger.
Now, the links on deadline day might suggest that a truce has been called between the two and Edu is willing to grant the Forest head coach his wish.
Traore knows the Premier League and the Europa League extremely well, but at 29, he can’t really be considered as being as attractive as Bakwa when it comes to a deadline day deal.
Still, if it keeps Espirito Santo sweet, then perhaps it’s a deal worth doing, especially if Bakwa does decide against a switch to the Premier League.
