Nottingham Forest had a great summer window, bringing in a great deal of quality, and adding depth all over the pitch.
The club went as far as breaking their club record transfer fee for Omari Hutchinson, who joined from Ipswich Town.
When a player arrives for a record fee, it is usually a tell-tale sign of how highly the club rates their ability, but Hutchinson was left out of the Forest Europa League squad, leaving a lot of fans confused.
The decision has not been popular with the Tricky Trees fanbase, and has come as quite the surprise, not least to the player himself.

Omari Hutchinson ‘shocked’ by Nuno Espirito Santo Europa League decision
Coming in as the record signing, Omari Hutchinson no doubt felt like he was going to have a major impact on Nottingham Forest’s season.
The prospect of Europa League football appealed to the winger, and now reports have emerged revealing how the player reacted to the news.
According to journalist Tom Collomosse, the Jamaican international ‘is thought to have been left shocked by his exclusion.’
It is the expected the reaction from the player, and it certainly does feel really harsh to exclude him.
But there is plenty of time for the 21-year-old to impress his new manager, although if playing European football for Forest is the goal, he’ll have to potentially wait until the knockout rounds.
The decision to leave out the club’s record signing will no doubt fuel speculation surrounding Nuno’s opinion about Edu.

Edu played a large role in securing the signing of Hutchinson, and the snub could be seen as a swipe from the manager.
Espirito Santo had wanted Adama Traore, but the Forest Head of Football stopped any potential deal for the Spaniard to happen, and the rift has caused lots of problems off the pitch at the club.
Nuno has made poor decisions in Europa League squad selection
Putting the Hutchinson choice to the side, there are other issues with the squad the Portuguese manager has selected.
Nuno has chosen a squad that only contains one left-back, Neco Williams. The signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko was meant to provide cover and experience in that position.
However, the Ukrainian, like Hutchinson, is not part of the list for the Europa League.
If Williams picks up an injury, or a suspension, Nuno will have only himself to blame if he has no other natural left-sided full-back at his disposal.
