Nottingham Forest boss Ange Postecoglou is still waiting for his first win in charge of the team after a 1-0 defeat to Sunderland.
Postecoglou saw his side beaten by the newly-promoted side, who have begun the season extremely well.
Neco Williams bemoaned some poor refereeing, which led to the Sunderland goal and with tough fixtures on the horizon, things might get worse before they get better.
Forest played really well against Real Betis in midweek, and ultimately, Postecoglou decided to make lots of changes for the clash with Sunderland, much to the dismay of the fan base.
One of the omissions from the team was Morgan Gibbs-White, and after the game, Postecoglou shared why he made that decision.

Ange Postecoglou shares why he dropped Morgan Gibbs-White
It was a surprise not to see Gibbs-White on the team sheet when Forest played Sunderland, given that he’d registered his first assist against Real Betis in midweek.
Postecoglou was naturally quizzed on the situation surrounding Gibbs-White after the game, and his answer was pretty interesting to say the least.
He told Nottinghamshire Live: “We are going to need the whole squad. We have a lot of games coming up, he had a big night the other night and we have a lot of players to give minutes to.”
Forest spent a lot of money in the summer to improve the standard of the squad but frankly, his decision to make so many changes last night helped nobody at all.
Postecoglou is not helping himself
It’s okay for the Australian boss to say that basically everyone needs minutes, but Forest need wins and until he finds a winning formula, Postecoglou can’t keep justifying making so many errors.
Right now, Postecoglou is proving everyone who doubted him after his abysmal season with Tottenham right, and it’s becoming tiresome already.
The man who won the Europa League with Spurs last season had no need to treat Sunderland with such disrespect and make so many changes for Saturday’s game.
Choosing to leave the captain and talisman on the bench for the weekend’s game was pathetic by Postecoglou and if a win isn’t secured against Midtjylland on Thursday, things could turn very ugly indeed!
