It has been a rough start to life for Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest after going without a win in his first five games.
His first game at the City Ground ended in a 1-0 loss to Sunderland amid controversial circumstances and an alarming statistic points towards failure for Postecoglou at Forest.
However, not everyone is being pessimistic about the Australian’s start to life at the Tricky Trees.
Fellow Australian and former Premier League player Mark Bosnich has admitted he is confident Ange will succeed and has been encouraged by what he has seen.
Now, Micah Richards has come out and has given a bold verdict despite the winless run at Nottingham Forest.

Micah Richards says there are no concerns at Nottingham Forest under Ange Postecoglou right now
Micah Richards is a big fan of Ange Postecoglou, and recently the former Manchester City player defended him from criticism.
The Englishman has now once again come out in defence of Postecoglou following the disappointing result against Sunderland.
Speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day, Richards said, “It has been difficult, but he has had some tough fixtures: Arsenal, Burnley, Swansea, and Real Betis all away.
“Betis in Europe, they played really well in that first half; a little bit frustrating today [vs Sunderland] because they got into some good areas in the first half but just couldn’t finish it off. Nothing to worry about.”
Postecoglou has a lot of players at his disposal, and the performance of Omari Hutchinson vs Sunderland showed there is depth in quality.
The 60-year-old must find his best starting XI sooner rather than later, as even though he only just took the job, that does not mean he is safe.
Ange Postecoglou is not safe in his job at Nottingham Forest
The claim from Micah Richards that there is nothing to worry about is certainly a bold shout.
Nottingham Forest are struggling to get results and are currently sitting on just five points from six games.
Results need to start coming in quickly, and the fixtures are not getting any easier. The Tricky Trees travel to play Newcastle United at St James’ Park next Sunday, in what will be a difficult match once more.

Ange Postecoglou needs to start bringing points in, as Evangelos Marinakis has already shown he can be ruthless through his past actions with the previous two managers.
The Australian claimed this is not a project, and that could mean he is not afforded much time at the City Ground if this run continues.
