Sean Dyche has been left completely shocked by something he was heavily criticised for at Nottingham Forest.
Dyche was replaced by Vitor Pereira last month after a 0-0 draw at home to Wolves signalled the end of his time at the City Ground.
How would you score Sean Dyche’s time at Forest out of 10?
Evangelos Marinakis asked senior players what they thought of Dyche, and that ended with the manager getting the chop.
Now, the main reason Dyche was sacked has come under scrutiny and it would appear that it’s one element of modern-day football that he just can’t wrap his head around.

Sean Dyche stunned he’s criticised for working players too hard
Dyche has no hard feelings towards Forest, but he has been left surprised by something that he was criticised for on Trentside.
It’s claimed that the players went into matches shattered due to his constant demands in training, and that’s something that Dyche just can’t comprehend as a stick to beat him with.
He told The Football Boardroom podcast: “Imagine this to a modern fan reading this. And this is a lot that was coming out. The players are tired because he’s working them too hard.
“Since when has that become a currency that is almost like, ‘oh, what are they doing working footballers too hard?’ If you’d have written that 10 years ago, people would have gone, every family gone, ‘what are they talking about working too hard? They should be in there every minute of every day.’
“I mean, I couldn’t believe it, honestly. Oh, he’s working the players too hard. I’m like, when did that become a bad thing?”
Dyche will now await his next opportunity to get back into football.
Given his time spent as a youth team player at Forest, he will be bitterly disappointed that his chance at the club lasted a little under five months, and he will want some time to get over this setback.
Given how poorly he set up the team at Forest, it’s hard to imagine him getting another Premier League gig.
However, he is still renowned for galvanizing clubs who are perhaps on the floor and perhaps his next project needs to be something where the pressure isn’t quite as high as it is at Forest.
