Nottingham Forest are fighting for their lives in the Premier League and with four games remaining their status remains up in the air.

The Reds will likely face offers from a number of clubs for their star players, with Elliot Anderson looking almost certain to join Manchester City.

😍How would sum up the performance vs Sunderland in just one word?

What a performance!

Others will have admirers already regardless of the division that Forest find themselves in and Evangelos Marinakis could be facing a busy summer ahead.

Manchester United make checks on Murillo

According to The Telegraph, United are desperately keen to sign a central defender in the summer transfer window with a host of names currently on a shortlist.

One of those is thought to be Forest star Murillo, with United eyeing a left-sided central defender during the next transfer window.

Murillo only signed a new contract in January 2025 and it would take a very sizeable offer for Forest to even consider selling their prized defender.

The Brazilian has been a revelation since joining the City Ground ranks from Corinthians in the summer of 2023, being practically ever present prior to this season.

Right now, the defender is out injured with a hamstring problem and Forest will hope that he can recover in time to play again this season.

Losing Murillo in the same summer as Forest stand to lose Anderson would be an almighty blow and with United also eyeing Micky van de Ven from Tottenham, the hope will be that that’s the avenue they go down.

It’s absolutely no surprise that top clubs are now courting Murillo and Forest will have some serious work to do this summer if they’re to keep hold of their top stars.
