Nottingham Forest are gearing up for a busy summer after avoiding relegation in 2025/26.

Forest will want to add some players to their ranks, but others could leave the club during the transfer window.

Who is your ‘hear me out’ signing for Nottingham Forest to make this summer?! 👀🤔

We only want RED HOT takes! 🔥

Elliot Anderson is wanted by Manchester City, whilst other players will have interest coming throughout the summer.

Some fringe players will almost certainly leave the City Ground during the window, with one player now looking very likely to leave.

Atalanta eye Nicolo Savona

According to Matteo Moreno, talks are now underway between Forest and Atalanta in the quest for the Serie A team to land Savona.

The full-back cost £11 million from Juventus last summer, and he made 20 appearances, scoring against Manchester United and Liverpool, before requiring knee surgery.

As a result, he’s not made a single appearance under Vitor Pereira, and he could decide to let him leave this summer.

Atalanta will be in Europe next season, and leaving will allow the full-back an immediate return to European competition.

Savona clearly isn’t pushing to remain at Forest, and a move for him to go back to Italy could benefit all parties.

With Atalanta preparing a move for Nicolo Savona, how would you rate his time at Nottingham Forest?

It’s not clear at this stage how much Forest will command for his services, but if he does leave, a replacement will certainly be sought.

Pereira plays a style of play that suggests he wants his full-backs to get up and down the pitch quickly, and perhaps that’s not Savona’s strongest attribute.

Atalanta would be a good move for Savona this summer, and hopefully, Forest can recoup a small profit and then invest it into the squad wisely.
