Nottingham Forest won’t bid for Fabio Vieira
On Friday, it came to light overseas that Forest had made a bid for Arsenal player Vieira following his successful loan spell with Hamburg.
However, Florian Plettenberg has dismissed the link almost immediately, with him of the belief that Forest holds zero interest in the player.
Vieira will return to Arsenal this summer after scoring seven goals and claiming six assists in 31 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit last season.
The 26-year-old has made 49 appearances for Arsenal, scoring three goals and claiming 10 assists, but with the Gunners now champions, it’s unlikely he’s going to get another chance in North London.
Forest will be on the lookout for midfielders and forwards this summer, with Vieira capable of operating in either of those areas.
However, it would seem as though the player isn’t on the list for the Reds on this occasion, and the player valued at £25 million will be seeking another club instead.
Viera was called ‘dangerous’ by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and it will be interesting to see where the versatile player ends up ahead of next season.
