Bailey Rice pens new Rangers contract
According to Fabrizio Romano, Rice has now decided to focus all of his attention on becoming a mainstay at Rangers by signing a new contract.
It’s believed that he will sign a new deal with Rangers and continue his development at Ibrox instead of moving south of the border.
Forest and Aston Villa were previously linked with Rice, who is only 19 and has already made 16 appearances for Rangers.
Rice clearly feels that the pathway is clearer for him to play regular football at Rangers than it is at a Premier League club right now.

He managed just 2/6 attempts on target! 😲
The midfielder would have been a useful signing with one eye firmly etched on the future had he chosen Forest, but other irons will likely be in the fire.
Firstly, the Reds will almost certainly focus on adding to the first-team ranks, and it does feel unlikely that too much time will be wasted on missing out on Rice.
Forest have to make sure they get their recruitment right this summer, and ultimately, supporters will judge the club on how the first team is strengthened in the coming months.
