Nottingham Forest made a huge transfer blunder last summer.
Nuno Espirito Santo and his Nottingham Forest chiefs made the decision to sanction the sale of Danilo to Botafogo.
Forest only received £16m for Danilo, and looking back, it was a huge mistake as he’s now flourishing in Brazil.
Elliot Anderson wants to win a major tournament with England – can the Three Lions claim glory at the World Cup this year?
In fact, Danilo has even been called up by Carlo Ancelotti for Brazil, and he’s already scored twice in his five caps so far.
Now, football legend Cafu has heaped praise on the former Forest midfielder.

Speaking on Romario TV, 143-cap Brazil international Cafu waxed lyrical about Danilo, which may be somewhat hard to hear for Nottingham Forest supporters.
“But I’ll tell you, Danilo has been standing out,” Cafu explained.
“In the friendly games he played, Danilo scored goals. Danilo, he’s a guy, he attacks, he defends with the same strength, he plays, he has a vision for the game.”
Fill in the gap: Lloyd Kelly would be a __/10 signing for Nottingham Forest
It wouldn’t at all be surprising to see Danilo back in the Premier League at some stage, and Manchester United have been linked.
According to UOL, Man United have already made an offer to sign the 25-year-old and AC Milan are also in the mix as well.
Speaking earlier this month, Danilo admitted he never really wanted to leave Forest, but he just wasn’t getting enough game time.
“It was very difficult. I have the age to be in Europe, but my serious injury made me lose my place.
“At first, I didn’t want to return to Brazil. I wanted to turn things around and shine, but this is football, and these are the things you can’t control.”
