That provides a number of challenges as they’ll likely have to wrap up personal terms and medicals whilst Lucumi is out in the States at the World Cup.
The 6ft 2 defender is currently preparing for a round of 32 clash against Ghana, which takes place in Kansas City on Saturday.
Forest are also facing stiff competition for Lucumi’s signature, as Italian giants Juventus and Premier League rivals Bournemouth are very keen.
The report further claims that Lucumi’s Bologna teammate Santiago Castro is under consideration after netting 11 goals last term.
The 21-year-old striker has been linked to the City Ground previously.
