Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Guy Moussi has heaped praise on star forward Brennan Johnson during an interview with the Garibaldi Red podcast.
The Frenchman was in attendance at the City Ground on Saturday to watch the Reds stuff Preston North End 3-0.
Johnson was once again in the starting eleven for Forest and he’s thriving in Steve Cooper’s attacking system.
The 20-year-old looks set for a bright future in the game and he was once again in the thick of the action on Saturday.

Johnson won the penalty which allowed the Reds to take the lead in the game and he was a menace throughout.
Moussi thinks Johnson could be destined for greatness after his performances of late.
He told the Garibaldi Red podcast: “He’s very good. I saw him coming through for the last two years. It’s good to see young players breaking through.
“It’s the DNA of the club, the academy. I hope he has a bright future for the club. If he carries on like this it will be a stretch between keeping him by offering more game time versus the chance to go to a bigger club but not be in the first team.
“It’s a matter of how big the club is, there is stuff money wise and the question of what can we offer him.”
Stardom: Johnson is set for the top and Forest must get him to sign
In the summer, Johnson will have just a year to run on his existing deal. As a result, the club must move quickly to get him tied down to a new City Ground contract.

The youngster has been a revelation this season and in truth, he should have more goal contributions than the three goals and three assists he currently has.
Moussi is right to be impressed with Johnson. His pace and ability to glide past players makes him a real nuisance to defenders and he’s a big asset in Cooper’s team.
